"Concordia to relocate to Gulf Road"
by Curt Brown, The Standard-Times
October 12, 2006
South Wharf, the waterfront property that Concordia Company has occupied since 1940, and leased from the Howland family since 1969, has been sold to Dave Nolan of Cape-Yachts.
Our current lease ends on July 31, 2007. It is unclear at this time whether Concordia will have a presence on the South Wharf property after that date. We plan to continue operating a full-service boatyard based out of our 14 acre facility on Gulf Road, a half mile west of Padanaram Harbor. We will continue to maintain, repair and restore boats and work with our loyal customers to enable them to get the most out of their boating experience.

Concordia Company, Inc. leases the 2.7 acre waterfront property known as South Wharf. Our current lease is in effect until July 31, 2007. Our landlord is in the process of selling the property. We do not know who will buy the property, and we do not know what our future will be with the property.
We are planning to continue operating a full-service boatyard based out of our 14 acre facility on Gulf Road, one mile from South Wharf. Though we know there will be some challenges, we are fully committed to overcoming them. We will continue to maintain, repair and restore boats and work with our loyal customers to enable them to get the most out of their boating experience.
