Mooring Update

The next scheduled meeting of the Dartmouth Waterways Commission will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2008 at 7PM in Room 315, Dartmouth Town Hall (400 Slocum Rd, Dartmouth).
Brian Valiton from the Army Corps of Engineers (ACE) will be in attendance. Brian works in the Regulatory office and has been our contact at the Corps throughout the lengthy mooring permit application process. Also attending will be his supervisor, Karen Adams.
While this is not a formal public hearing, the Waterways meetings are open to the public and this will be a great opportunity to show support for our mooring permit application and to ask questions of both the Waterways Commission members and/or the ACE personnel. While they have read the many letters in support of our application (over 40) which are now part of our filing, the review process is still ongoing. The Waterways Commission members (as well as all of you) are anxious to see some sign of progress towards a decision on our application, and this ACE visit is a unique opportunity for you, our mooring customers, to show your support for the continuation of Concordia Company's mooring rental operation.
Your attendance will be most beneficial at this meeting and I urge you to attend.
