Concordia Projects: Summer Wind: Deck

Summer Wind

In the winter of 2009-2010, Concordia replaced the original deck on Summer Wind. The old deck lasted 45 years. There were certain areas, however, where water was getting through into the cabin. Hardware was stripped, rails & coamings came off, and the old boards were removed. Along the way, we found the winch blocks needed to be stripped & re-glued. The new deck is mahogany ply with dynel and multi-year paint.
