Niam

Concordia Yawl #24, NIAM, was built in 1955 and has been owned by the Ryan family since new. Working with the owner and their surveyor, Concordia developed a comprehensive plan to restore the boat "for the next 50 years." Major elements of the project included a new wood keel, deadwood and stern post, new extended mast step and stainless steel tie-rod system, 36 pairs of frames, 32 floors and 7 planks each side. In addition we installed a new Yanmar diesel, propeller, shaft and drip-less shaft seal.
